Jeep Genuine Mopar Oil Filters
Clean motor oil is a must because unfiltered oil could accumulate tiny, hard particles that could wear surfaces in your Jeep’s engine. The dirty oil could, in turn, wear out the oil pump’s components and damage bearing surfaces. JeepsAreUs helps you protect your engine with premium oil filters that deliver best-in-class performance and convenience.

Achieve Consistent Oil Flow with a Reliable Oil Filter
Oil is the lifeblood of your engine. But as the oil circulates in your engine, it can pick up contaminants that affect your Jeep’s performance. This is why engine oil needs to be filtered to remove impurities and reduce wear on critical engine components.
Oil filters work by capturing harmful debris, dirt, and metal fragments from motor oil to keep an engine running smoothly. Filtering out the junk can help your motor oil stay cleaner for longer. And that translates to better overall engine performance.
But more than just filtering waste, your oil filter makes sure that your motor oil is at the right place, at the right time.
Purchase Top-Quality Oil Filters at JeepsAreUs
Protect your engine with the best oil filter. If you’re starting to notice low oil pressure, acceleration problems, metallic noises under the hood, or changes in exhaust color, then it’s time to schedule a Jeep oil change and filter replacement.
JeepsAreUs offers oil filters to help you maintain proper oil viscosity and extend the life of your Jeep. Our heavy-duty oil filters provide outstanding durability and long-life performance. They are designed with specifications for flow rate, filter quality, and oil capacity for your Jeep. Our Mopar oil filter is, for instance, engineered to withstand long service intervals. Frequently Asked Questions: Oil Filters
What type of oil filter do I need?
Your oil filter will depend on the engine type of your car and how you’ll use it. Car oil filters come in a variety of types with their advantages and specific uses. Oil filters are available in the following types:
Full-flow or primary oil filters
Secondary oil filters
Cartridge oil filters
Spin-on oil filters
Spinner oil filters
Magnetic oil filters
When should I change an oil filter?
It’s always best to do oil filter changes before it gets clogged or dirty. Oil filter replacements are often done whenever you have an oil change or during your routine maintenance. If you drive your car a lot around inclement weather conditions or go through dusty or rocky terrains and hauling heavy trailers, you might have to change your filter more often.
How often should I change an oil filter?
Most car manufacturers recommend changing filters whenever you have an oil change. If your car is fairly new, you’ll need to change your oil filter after about 7,500 miles. If your service engine light is on or you drive in more severe conditions more often, you will have to change your filters more frequently.
How do I change an oil filter?
Start your engine for several minutes to warm up your oil for better draining.
Drive your car between two ramps and keep its wheels in place with chucks.
Put an oil pan under the oil drain plug of your vehicle before draining.
Loosen the oil drain plug with your hand and push it back toward the oil pan so the oil doesn’t leak.
Look for your engine’s filler cap, then start draining your motor oil.
Change the cap and use your hand to secure it.
Use a wrench to tighten the filler cap.
Place your oil pan below your old engine filter, then carefully remove it with a wrench.
Apply some oil to the rubber gasket of the new filter before installing it.
Secure your new filter with your hand and make sure not to over-tighten it.
Put your undertray back to its original position and lower your vehicle.
Remove your engine’s oil cap, then pour oil into the engine through a funnel.
Check if your engine has the right amount of oil with a dipstick.
Start your vehicle to check for any leaks.
How do I remove a stuck oil filter?
If your oil filter gets stuck, you can remove it in any of the following ways:
Use your hand to remove the filter.
Loosen the filter using wrenches and pliers.
Dislodge the canister using a screwdriver and a hammer.
