Jeep Announces Another Massive Recall
FCA (the parent company of Jeep) has announced that the will recall certain 2017 model year (manufactured between Oct.13 and Oct. 17, 2016) Cherokee SUV's because of an issue with the driver side knee airbag. This comes after a recall of 300,000 Jeep Wranglers. Reportedly, there are improper welds that may prevent the airbag from inflating properly.
FCA will contact the SUV owners that are affected in mid November. Typically, the communication will advise to take the Jeep to the nearest dealership to receive a free replacement.
